According to the Shannonn index, biodiversity is measured through the number of species present in a given space, and we as the Bosques Verdes Foundation are proud to contribute to the increase in biodiversity within the Periland Eco Park private forest reserve through our environmental workshops that, thanks to the support of families, groups of friends, academies, companies and other organizations that have accompanied us in this process, we have been able to plant a large number of trees whose species vary from alders to myrtles, seven leathers, chilcos, bear paws, cedars, beech trees, among other native species.
